Pledge Credit Form
The Educational Fund was created to encourage more parental involvement and ownership, to broaden budgetary awareness among parents, and to provide an opportunity for parents to further invest in Stone-Eden and its program. Having resources on hand allows the administration to continue to increase the quality of the school.
There is a $20.00 membership fee. Like any membership, membership has its perks. The greatest benefit is that members receive a discounted tuition rate. When a family applies for membership, it pledges that it agrees to the philosophy and Statement of Faith for the school; it pledges to verbally support the school at church, in their neighborhoods and in public; and it pledges to pray for the school ministry, its teachers, and its students. The fourth component of the pledge relates to money. We ask parents to pledge to support the school financially by giving tax deductible donations, purchasing supplies which the school would normally use, volunteer or teach a class, or participating in fundraising. Families receive a statement periodically which details to what extent the family has met its pledge.
Fundraising is pre-planned at the beginning of the year. Volunteers are needed to head up the fundraisers. Volunteers who chair the fundraiser will be able to credit 5% of the total profit for the school toward the pledge.
Parents who purchase supplies for the school, should complete the Pledge Credit Form, attach the receipt for the purchase and return to the school office.
The office will write receipts for purchasing supplies and making contributions. These two actions are tax deductible. Please keep your receipts for your tax records.
Families who are members receive the Educational Fund tuition rate for their entire family for the current school year. The current pledge amount per family is $500.
